W. Carey Crane III - Chairman

Carey Crane devotes a major portion of his time to a number of national and international initiatives dedicated to blending effective business management with responsible environmental practices. He is a founding member of C2I, LLC, a conservation finance company which has developed conservation investment programs for the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley and is currently spearheading the reforestation of this region through GreenTrees, LLC whose mission is to restore significant ecosystems, sequester meaningful amounts of carbon and create an enduring conservation endowment. Mr. Crane has participated on numerous domestic and international foundation and non-profit boards over the last twenty-five years and continues to be an active member of many organizations.

 

Carol D. Rieg - Director

Ms. Rieg is the Corporate Foundation Officer of Bentley Systems, Inc. Bentley is the global leader dedicated to providing architects, engineers, constructors, and owner-operators with comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure with $500 million in annual revenues.

As the Corporate Foundation Officer, Carol is responsible for establishing and directing the Corporate Social Responsibility program, involving 3000 employees in 45 countries.  Corporate giving centers around Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) outreach programs.  Additional activities include response to catastrophic disasters with matching financial support as well the donation of the company’s engineering infrastructure software to organizations such as Engineers Without Borders. Ms. Rieg was one of the creators and subsequently served as the National Director of the Future City Competition (1992-2008), a middle school engineering outreach (STEM) program.

 

Robert H. Loftur-Thun - Chief Executive Officer, ex officio Director

Robert Loftur-Thun, has over 25 years of executive management experience in the private and non-governmental organization (NGO) sectors and has focused on helping non-profit organizations to fulfill their missions, serve their constituents, and grow by providing capacity building services in the areas of strategic planning, program strategy, branding and marketing, strategic partnership development, donor relationship development,  strategies for engagement with corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, social marketing and social media strategies, and constituent relationship and performance management using the cloud-based SalesForce platform. Mr. Loftur-Thun has worked closely with Fortune 1000 companies and corporate Vice Presidents of Sustainability, creating corporate-NGO partnerships that support biodiversity and are integrated with corporate CSR programs.
